For the last 15 years I have had the honor of Capturing moments that are incredible, heartfelt, and such an honor and a privilege to be apart of.
In looking back, I could say I fell into photography. While attending Rialto High School A friend and I were talking in our English class one day and he was telling me how fun The Yearbook class was. Told me I should join. So, I went to the Yearbook advisory, he interviewed me, and saw I was a perfect fit for the Yearbook Staff. Since I was already involved in baseball, I was in charge of putting together the Baseball Spread for the Year Book. With any Spread, you always need images, so I requested a photographer and there was not one available, so I asked the yearbook adviser to issue me a camera and show me how to use it. I went out, Photographed a few rolls of film (yes film, im that old, LOL) and turned them in. When the images came back, The adviser liked them so much, I became a photographer.
After High School, while attending Fresno City College, I started working for a Nation wide Mall Portrait Studio Photographing Families and kids. After 2 months of being a photographer, I was promoted to Studio manager, It was so much fun! If a slow motion smile from a baby does not warm your heart, not sure what will. I then moved to a different Nation Wide Mall Portrait Studio where after I was able to climb the ladder pretty fast, becoming one of the youngest District Training where I traveled around Northern California helping studios re-organize and re-vamp the overall look and feel of the studios, while also training new photographers, studio assistant managers, as well as studio managers.
I then married my wife after dating her for 5 years, and we moved out of the Fresno area and into the Riverside area, to be closer to both of our families. I then started working for a National School Studio company where I worked for 8 years photographing Kids in grades Kindergarten to Senior High School Students. As I moved up in the Ranks, I found a live for special events as well as taking Senior Portraits. Toward the end of my Career with that company, My sol focus was managing and running the road studios for senior portraits.
While in my last years with that company, I had the opportunity to get some equipment of my own, and was asked and was given the honor of photographing some Friends and Family members who were getting married and Fell in love with everything about capturing stunning moments Brides and Grooms will embrace and enjoy for years to come. So I started my journey to start my own company in 2014, and building my company and brand to what it is today. At this point, we have photographed over 120 weddings and are still counting. Its an awesome feeling when clients love what you have a love for, appreciate your efforts and passion for embracing the moments they have created, capturing them, and helping their special day go smooth.
The future in this industry is forever expanding and it warms my heart to know that I have pursued a passion that has given me the honor to be a stay at home dad on the week days, and hang out with awesome friends/clients/their friends and families, as well as have a life filled with love around every wedding.
To all my past, present, and future Friends/clients. Thank You So Very Much for choosing us to capture the start of the two of you go on the true adventure of Life, love and everything in between!
